Friends of Franklin is a non-profit organization whose mission is to raise funds and provide community resources and support for Franklin Fine Arts Center. This group runs several fundraisers throughout the year and is now sponsoring the many (and fun!) community-building activities the PTA formerly organized.
Friends of Franklin is an Illinois 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization. The group was originally established in the early 2000s to pursue a single major capital project for the school: The building and funding of a new fine arts facility. Friends of Franklin currently meets the 3rd Tuesday of each month, and meetings are open to all. We encourage parents to attend and get involved! Actual time spent on organizational work will vary depending on the project.
